Jeff Dillon

Whiskey drinking, all night dancing, rock and roll

Jeff Dillon won’t sit down and he won’t shut up. For 20 years he’s been distilling his punk passion in a mash of folk-flavored rock and roll, for a sound that evokes the love child of Tom Petty and Against Me! His debut EP, “For Heidi” is the oak-barrel aged soundtrack for a rail-hopping, whiskey drinking hobo with big dreams and a heart on fire.

He has been fronting bands in every genre since he was 17 years old. As a solo artist, he brings his unique blend of charisma, yearning, and unadulterated love for the music that’s influenced him to a whole new level, holding his own on stage at festivals, on tour, and with acts including James McCartney, Allison Weiss, Sammy Kay, Matt Woods, Mike Frazier, The Maxies, and River City Extension.

With the imminent release of “For Heidi” in spring of 2017, Jeff is setting his sights on the road, and the future. Look for this punk rock troubadour on the road in your town soon. A new record full of songs for family, friends, and Jeff's own unique outlook on life, For Heidi is a surefire addition to your 2017 soundtrack.

He counts Chuck Ragan, Frank Turner, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, The Gaslight Anthem, and Against Me! among his major influences, and has been compared to Frank Turner, Tom Petty, Woodie Guthrie, The Replacements, Green Day, Mike Ness, and The Gaslight Anthem.
